Tell us about yourself. This question is always fun because we love to see how people choose to describe themselves haha.

Bobbie -  My name is Bobbie Long, your friendly local artist who's more comfortable with canvases than small talk, and has a serious case of motorcycle mania. I’m probably dressed in all black with a coffee and book in hand.

Jackie - My name is Jackie Rosenstein. I’ve been in the EV industry for years. If I'm not on two wheels, I’m probably eating pizza with my pup (Clutch the Goldendoodle)  or in a garage working on my bike.

Where are you from originally and where do you live now?

Bobbie - I’m from Nashville, TN. I’ve been out in Los Angeles for the last six years but now Jackie and I are packing up and headed to Austin, TX!

Jackie - I’m from San Antonio, TX. I’ve also been out in Los Angeles for the last six years. Excited to build for us to have a garage to store all these dang motorcycles we’ve collected. Between the two of us, we have six (and counting).

We love ice cream! What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

Bobbie - I’m a Heath Bar ice cream kind of gal. When I’m feeling frisky, I go for a pistachio scoop.

Jackie - Catch me outside with a cookies n cream cone.

You are the first women to ride across the country on e-motorcycles. Tell us what your most memorable part of the trip was?

I think we can both agree that we have too many crazy memories than we can count but one in particular sticks out. One night we got caught in a storm in Pennsylvania. It was dark and raining harder than anything either of us had ridden through. We had to pull up our visors and just take. After a while a deep fog set in and there were hundreds of frogs in the street. And when it couldn’t get any stranger than raining frogs, we had to pull over and figure out how to change the battery in this terrible storm. We found a building in the mountains that had an event tent in the backside of the building. We just happened to have stumbled across the local pub that was getting ready for their weekend festival. The owner was so kind, he let us sleep upstairs for the night!

ATWYLD is that single moment between fear and thrill. What was your ATWYLD moment?

I feel like ATWYLD was our entire theme of the trip. There wasn’t a rule book or a verified source telling us how to get across North America on electric motorcycles - we were writing it for ourselves through trial and error. With that, we were in a constant state of survival. If our bikes died or got a flat, we had to figure it out for ourselves. Despite our three flat tires along the way, we still thrived in the fear because we were doing what we love.

Best advice to people riding across the country.

Pack light but efficient - investing in the right gear will save you money in the end! Bring an electric tire pump, extra power banks, extra tubes/tires, tools, a Quad Lock mount/case and if it’s cold - wool is your best friend. Understanding that it’s a marathon not a sprint will help you build your mental toughness - your back may hurt but it’s worth it!

What was your favorite piece of ATWYLD gear you wore on your journey?

I think we can both agree that the Pursuit Garage Jacket is the biggest head turner and the pockets save lives. As for pants, we’re truly obsessed with the velocity off-road adventure pants. You need them, period.
